We Did It!!

Post by 06HARLEYULTRA »

After many months of researching, looking, and bidding, we came home with a 2002 Mac 26 :macx: today. :D :D
She's beautiful, and we can't wait to begin our sailing journeys. I am new to sailing, and the wife and kids have never done it, so it will be an adventure for the family.
Thanks to the members here for some good advise along the way, and more to come.
I will post some pic's when i'm not so bushed.

Congrats! 8) Be sure to change your profile to show you have an :macx: and not 'I'm shopping'. :D

Pics and specs are always nice. Engine, trailer details, sail complement, special accessories and/or customizations. Heck, even different seat cushion fabric is interesting to some of us. :| :D

I'll be happy to buy the pizza, and a few pitchers of brews. IMHO Geno's East has the best. 8)

Thanks all :D
We have begun the naming process, and the cleaning and preparing has begun.
We should have her registered in SC soon, but for now, I'm taking her apart and cleaning/inspecting/learning all her nooks and crannies.
She has a Honda BF 50, and I'm unsure which prop is on it...but it needs replacing so that will happen.
My wife came up with the name...SEA ALICE :o :?
I like it....fits with our since of humor. So many possibilities.....
