I launched Saturday AM around 7:00 and had a nice Spinnaker Run North towards the Bay Bridge until the wind died and motored up to Sandy Pt State Park for a refuel and bathroom break. And while I was there I was inspected by the Coast Guard Auxilliary. The guy walked up to me while refueling and said "What do you know, a Macgregor". He said he used to own a Macgregor and he knew who I was from my posts on the this forum. His name is Tony and he was SuzieQ on this forum but I can't find his username. Anyway, the inspection was thorough and I have a CG sticker for my boat saying I was inspected.
Left SPSP and got back under Spinnaker for a couple of hours heading NE across the Bay up towards Love Point and then around the Point towards Eastern Neck Island. About the time I got up there Tony and Pedro jumped into Castle Harbor Marina for some fuel. But the timing was perfect and they came out and caught me just as I was sailing abeam the marina.
The three of us continued to sail back behind Eastern Neck Island and eventually made our way into a small protected cove called Earl's Cove. Kind of shallow getting in but once inside the water was 5+' deep. Pedro dropped his anchor and Tony and I rafted up on either side of him. And then Pedro dropped something else...part of his grill overboard. But after about 10 minutes of diving in the 6' deep water and feeling around in the ooze he found it and he cooked up some great burgers.
Tony had a small inflatable he bought on Amazon and we got some good pictures and video of the raft-up.

Did I forget to mention the Wing-on-Wing with the Spinnaker...
