Macs and the unexplained!

Post by Mac26Mpaul »

Inspired by Chuck's ghostly tale set onboard his Mac, I thought I'd share my experience from my October last year trip. I'm sure to make Project Bluebook with this one!

It was a beautiful morning, around 0550 and we were anchored just off a fairly large sand Island about 17 miles off the coast. The Island is virtually uninhabited, in fact doesnt even have roads. Conditions were so calm, I decided to take a morning row in the dinghy and take some nice snaps of "Little Annie". There were no aircraft in the area. I remember commenting to my wife how it was so calm and there was not even a sound.

Now, look at what I caught in one of my pictures of Little Annie (above the mast to the left on the bottom photo). The top photo was taken at the same time, so deffinately not anything on the camera lense. Looking at the original photo, its clear that there was deffinately something there.

For the record, although I dont doubt there is other life on some of the trillions of other planets similar to ours out there, I dont actually believe that any of it has visited us! I also dont do photoshop and even if I did and was going to make fake flying saucer shots, I'd probably come up with something a bit better than this LOL

Anyway, I'm proud to say, I'm the first to get a photo of my Mac with a flying saucer in the Pic!! 8)

Does anybody else have any other riviting stories like mine, of the paranormal or unexplained onboard your Macs? :)

Hey Paul! :D

This definitely fits the description of a UFO, 100%.

It’s unidentified, it’s flying, and it’s an object. :D

But that doesn’t necessarily mean that the insect that flew into the frame at the time the picture was snapped is not from another planet. :o

I was going to say, "Looks like a gull flew past the frame".

The real problem with the image is your jib tail is sticking out.

I was hoping for Lockeness monster :)

No way buddy, on the original photo, its quite clear that this thing is grey. Only Navy ships and flying saucers are grey, not bumble bees and gulls! :P

UFO's are real. The Air Force doesn't exist. I think a few of the people I know are from another planet. Fair Winds, Fair Dinkum, and Full Sails...Old Salt.

I apparently once shot down a UFO:

I was an electronic warfare technician onboard the USS England when this event supposedly took place. Odd how I have no memory of the event, or ever having unloaded our conventional armamments. I guess I'm part of the coverup.

This part is B.S. Tomahawk cruise missiles are not anti-aircraft weapons. This is a quote from that thread: "The UFO was most likely downed by a tomahawk cruise missile, although every ship in the u.s. task force deployed in the Persian gulf emptied its conventional armaments to destroy it."

It's safe to say that if an actual anti-aircraft missile was launched at the flying object, it would have been destroyed.

C'mon Wasp, everyone knows UFO's are encapsulated in an inpenetrable force field. A Tomahawk wouldn't even scratch it, even if it could be reprogrammed to intercept an arial target. LOL

Should submit that to Mufon. It's really very good.

UFOs;
95% explainable
3% secret government projects
2% unexplainable :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Gotta go................ their here to do their monthly scan of my implant :? :D :D :D :D :D :D :?

Seriously though, we are a tiny spec of dust in a universe that the more we learn about it, the smaller we get. We Humans have this incredible ability to convince ourselves that we know it all................ Very small minded of us, don't you think :?:
I mean, we were so darned sure that the world was flat a few hundred years ago. We were sure there was no water anywhere else but earth. I was taught in elementary school that there were nine galaxies............. that's right, nine. Even got in trouble with my forth grade teacher for questioning how they knew that. :?

There ARE nine galaxies... there are also eight fingers and two thumbs for most people...

There could be more than nine - but you run out of fingers and thumbs pretty quick....

(Acutally.... I taught my kids to count on binary when they were young.. Couning in binary for a fourth grad teacher would stop a lot of them in their tracks for a while.... 1023 +1...)

:?: Sorry, partially blonde............ don't get what you're saying. :?

Here's a tidbit from;

http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/ask_a ... 1127a.html
(Submitted November 27, 2002)

The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) site estimates there are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe. A recent German super-computer simulation estimates that the number may be as high as 500 billion! Can someone please clarify the accepted educated ballpark figure? Thanks a billion!

The Answer
Your inquiry is definitely in the minds of many scientists who are trying to obtain a good estimate for the number of galaxies in the universe. The methods used to achieve such number varies, and therefore, the results would vary, too. Also, as new and improved technology becomes available, astronomers can detect fainter objects that were not seen before. These objects that have come into view will in turn change the estimated number of galaxies.

For example, in 1999 the Hubble Space Telescope estimated that there were 125 billion galaxies in the universe, and recently with the new camera HST has observed 3,000 visible galaxies, which is twice as much as they observed before with the old camera. We're emphasizing "visible" because observations with radio telescopes, infrared cameras, x-ray cameras, etc. would detect other galaxies that are not detected by Hubble. As observations keep on going and astronomers explore more of our universe, the number of galaxies detected will increase. For more about the Hubble Space Telescope, check out this web site:
And now Kepler blows these numbers away, as I understand it. 'Course, like I said........ partially blonde :?

Questioning the authority figures leads to the implants, naturally. I'll bet your file is thick....
