I'm planning on launching on Fri July-16 most likely afternoon if all goes well although i'm going to have to hustle to get the boat ready the way things r going , I was planning on anchoring in a bay around humber river for Fri - Sun depending on the weather Geoff is booked in for Sun July - 18th I do believe so I might slip Sun also
Pot - luck dinners r fine with me & seeing I'm single I can bring bottled drinking water !! :D :D :D :D , theirs plenty of stores around to buy salads & cold cuts & put meat & baked patatoes on the BBQ , I'll bring mine also if I do not forget , like I did last yr :?

Humber? Don't you mean Credit river?
Do you also mean slipping in Snug Harbour PC on Sunday, like last year?
We're heading for the TO island 'Wall', after the festivities, for a day or two before heading home.
House to sell - lawns to mow. :(

Nowhere to anchor @ P/C all open water , I will slip there Mon-Thurs , maybe a day sooner & later depending on weather & whats happening , there's a couple of bays one can safely anchor in overnight around the humber R.

What about some of that semi-protected water right nearby . . .

. . . or a couple of miles NE at Lakefront Promenade? Looks like lots of open space there, in protected water.

I know that the marina at Cobourg has a big area inside the sea walls where anchoring is permitted, though I think you have to pay for it (cheaper than the wall, and much cheaper than a dock with power and water).

I think 'A' is pretty shallow in spots and has been continuously modified by silt outflow from the Credit River. 'B' is probably going to be prohibited. We're prepaid and booked for Snug Harbour Friday through Monday anyway. They have free dinghy dockage, that we'll be towing instead this year. If Highlander runs out of Scotch before he comes in we can run some over to him, for a free libation.

You might be able to anchor in C section , A section is too shallow full of silt & would not be good in an east wind also has alot of small boat traffic , fisher men who would be running over ur rode or running into ur boat @ night . B section is the entrance to a private marina & yacht club definately not there police would be chasing u outa there . D section same thing private yacht club maybe permited if u r a member of a yacht club
But the Humber bay East & West parks have a lot of room & I do not think they would bother u there as long a u were not planning on being a pernament summer long anchorage , so Humber Bay & C section r where I would be planning on spending some free anchorage on some nights, 19-22 i have a slip reserved . so 16-18 & 23-26 r open

https://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en
Besides got to try out my new 50ft 1/4" chain spliced to 200ft x 1/2" anchor rode out on my new windlass :) :P

One of the marinas at "D" is the seasonal marina owned by the town of Mississauga, so anchoring in that water may be possible, but you'd probably have to ask them first. I was on the phone with them a couple of days ago to extend my reservation to Sunday night (18 Aug) so I can travel on Sunday and splash that evening. I asked about parking in that lot, but that's a non-starter I'm afraid. But they did say that Lakefront Promenade is City owned. I don't know who owns the water, though. It's a lake, not the ocean, so who knows. :P

I've still got to find parking for tow beast and trailer. Maybe the commercial marina next to the Credit Village Marina. The admiral wants to book a hotel, which will include (of course) parking. Not my idea of fun, though. One of the best things I've ever experienced is the very early morning hours on a boat, when no one else is even up yet. But that's me. :P

Which ever way you look at it, the Port Credit Busker Fest weekend is a party! Starts Friday night with a Didgeridoo and black panty-hose... (are you listening Highlander!) :D :D :D
Then some serious racing on Monday - Ha.

There is a hotel overlooking the credit village marina

I would park my trailer where we launch from

Don't sweat it

Park your vehicle at either the hotel or behind Snug Harbour Restaurant

Free

Race on Monday is starting to sound very good

Guess I better have her gutted before then...

Wish I had time to vc17m the bottom

Nothing helps more then that stuff

Makes you bottom more slippery then cat sh$t on ....

See u all soon

For now its back to my Mods

Stereo install completed
Head mod
More lights
Handles
New prop
Boat bleached
Cabin getting organized
Install electrical panels
Etc...

Boat bleaching

Found I had mold spots on the plastic pieces that hold down my hatches, both on top and the cabin doorway

Tried scrubbing them to no avail

Then used bleach, let it sit on there for a bit, then wash off, seemed to work ok
