It does. Also:
"White hull. Widely regarded as the fastest color."

-chuckling in the back of the church- this isn't like cruise control, it's like A-F-P.
I think we have a new suggestion for Victor's marketing department!
A sad day indeed, but a.proper celebration of a boat well loved.

In other news...
Our "Luna Sea" is Beneteau Oceanis 38 hull #3. Hull #1 "White Bear" is doing a year long Atlantic loop right now with Benjamin Beneteau's grandson at the helm.

Re: Well, that escalated really rapidly...
So it turns out that the very hull that Sailing Magazine took out for their article test sail was later christened "Luna Sea". Bit of a puff piece, and the performance numbers mentioned are a bit optimistic.

They wanted to sell us the bedding in those photos for $3000 because it was custom tailored to the cushions. Told them I knew how to make a bed without fitted sheets for $2800 less.
Would have liked to have kept that spinnaker though.
The 35' they mention at the end of the article that's based on the design is actually only 31' and change LOA. Not sure how they're stretching that to calling it a 35'. Anyway, it looks quite similar and should be about half the price.
