Hope you can view this video.QB111 is moored at Saxon Harbor in WI. I added 5 extra dock lines after going down to the harbor yesterday and seeing the power of the storm. The water level probably rose a couple feet or more. I used to step down to the boat, Yesterday I had to step up a few feet. The video does not do justice to the power of the gale. Locals I spoke to have never seen anything like this. No damage though.

It's amazing the power of the Great Lakes storms. I've seen waves on Lake Michigan hit the breakwaters and rise up 10-12' and more.
In the 30s a "tidal wave" hit Chicago and a number of people were washed off a breakwater. My mother and her family just missed being some of them.
