Okay folks, I screwed up. I got my dates bass akwards :|

Some how I scheduled myself out of town the weekend of 17-18 October and have plane tickets committed. I need to move the round up. Seeking inputs from those who have signed up... I'm good with wknd of 10-12 Oct or 24-26 Oct. weather should not be a factor If we shift to the right and that may be preferred for the Pirate Fest sailors. So my recommendation is for 24-26 Oct.

Once again sorry for the screw up.

UPDATE #2 - Marina Reservations

Due to an unusual large number of Mega Yachts at the City Marina (something like 12 over 150'), they are not taking transient reservations for October. No problem though. I put us on a wait list and then secured 7 slips at the neighboring Harborage at Ashley Marina. http://www.theharborageatashleymarina.com.

They will have 30/50A plus water at each slip. Cost is $60/night plus power ($2/ft, 30ft min). They have the usuals amenities including a shuttle to and from downtown. We'll be within walking distance of Starbucks for Storm Walker and the Variety Store Restaurant and Salty Mikes tavern is still close by.

So far I have the following:
Compromise - Confirmed
Knot Shore - Confirmed
Boom Boom II - Confirmed
Syzygy - Confirmed (Host Boat)
Bahama Bound - Maybe
Storm Walker - Maybe
tp56ihs - Maybe (don't know boat names)
David Bourne - Interested (don't know boat name)

so that's 4 with the potential for up to 4 more so I'll up our reservation number at the Ashley Marina. For those unconfirmed, please let me know what you're thinking so I can firm up the slip reservations.

Oh, and here's a teaser from the weekend...

Bob and Erik really liked this cannon. They thought they could outfit one of their Macs.

David Bourne and the Laura B can't make it. I'm bummed but will get it earlier on the calendar next year.

Yall have fun, but watch out for those NC Pirates. They will cut holes in your boat! 8)

PS, @Bahama Bound, I'd love to hear what you and the family thought of Jocassee.

Sure thing David. BTW, we took Syzygy up to Lake Jocassee last August and had a blast. Saw all the falls. Provision before arriving. No problem launching or recovering, plenty of parking. It's hull and gone from Charleston. I didn't think I could drive 6 hrs and not leave SC. I was wrong.

Bob

Up close and personal with one of the falls... the water levels were high.

Finally back into the swing of things. Did I miss it or is it on for the 24-26? If I have not missed it count us in.
