I know there was a thread earlier talking about cushions. Just wanted to let everyone know that I just got some new interior cushions made from foamorder.com. The web interface worked well to design them. They followed up with some emails and phone calles to verify everything would be made the way I wanted. The quality of the foam and covers look good only time will tell. Probably will use them to redo both beds at a later date.
Wow they look great! They are so nice and new that i wouldn't even sit on them:) Can I ask total price for everything just to give us an idea and did you do every cushion in the boat? thanx

I changed the backs and made them wider at the bottom then the top. The biggist one is 8" at the bottom and 4" at the top. The bottom ones are an inch thicker than original. The foam is the most expensive part. In total I have just under $1500 in all the cusions.
On our 26x that we recently purchased, the cushions were a dark red that my wife said had to be changed. She is going to buy the fabric and recover them. It's nice to have your own "interior decorator."

I checked foam order.com out to see about replacing the cockpit cushions with the exterior foam and marine vinyl it came out to almost $900 without shipping . They do look nice though.
We're in the process of making new cabin seat and vee berth cushions also. We're using a sunbrella upholstery fabric. We're getting our foam through a Seattle source called Friendly Foam Shop. They're all their name suggests, and have been great to work with. We're using a firm foam for the seats and vee berth. The foam is high quality, and has been treated to make it resistant to mold and mildew. Our old stock cushion foam really smelled of mildew, and Sandy is allergic to mildew. The seat backs will be of a softer foam. We're also ordering a 2 inch memory foam topper for the vee berth. I sent our paper patterns over to Friendly Foam, so they could calculate the amount of foam to order in. This next week I'll drive our cushion covers over to them, and have them cut the foam to fit. It won't take them long to cut the foam, and I know they'll do a more accurate job than I would. I'll reeducate myself on how to post pictures and get some up here, once we've got the finished cushions back. It's been a lot of work, but should turn out very nice.
