OK, in my last post I didn't pay attention to the 'changed location' bit! What happened there?
We're attempting to book now. Last time the overnighter at the Toronto Islands was magical - could we do that again (weather permitting)? There may be more MacGregor owners local to this area able to meet up.

I have booked the whole time, just to be safe, and any trip to the island for an overnight would be adhoc.

If you want to save money, just pay for your slip in PC when you plan to use it for sure, and then wing it for the rest.

When/If we go to the island for the night, I will just take the hit paying for both PC and the island that night, no worries.

Anyone who has a boat but r unable to bring it for what ever reason but would like to join us for a day,s sailing crewing on someone else,s boat r welcome to list their contact info & see if they can crew for one of the participating boats as Leon does when he comes up from San Francisco CA he usually crews on Geoff or Rocky,s boat or both on diff.days lol,

Even if u were only able to come down for an evening to join us for dinner or cocktail,s "bring ur own" & meet up with the crew,s & boats thats fine also

I maybe able to take -on 2 reasonably experienced crew because of the numerous lines & sheets on my boat , Just don,t be colour blind , Oh U bring the Scotch !!

Also anyone who wants to bring there boat for one day just to join us for a days sailing r welcome too lets see how many boats/crew & family , friends & people "new friends" we can get out there this yr

K , My slip is confirmed for the july 24th to 26th as per Garret @ PCV Marina , he said Mike will group the Mac group slips together approx 2 wks prior to date it,s 40$ a night or if u book 7 days u only pay for 6 days 7th day free , so I might launch my boat Sun 19th sail for the day then slip her for the rest of the wk so as when I come back down Thurs night 23rd I,m all set to go , have to see how my schedule goes & decide on that closer to the date

Getting lots of emails from fellow Mac owners that will be in attendance this year.

Mostly due to the the location change.

Many of us are on Lake Ontario for the season and do not wish to trailer anywhere for many reasons

I have sent a poster to all yacht clubs and marinas along the waterfront in hopes to reach as man Mac owners as possible

Looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting lots of new sailors

You need to fill out the form found on that site that says "Credit Village Visitor Request Form" ASAP!

Make sure when you fill out the form you put down that your Mac is 25'10", not a 26 foot boat as that is only the model number.

I was there today, May 26th, and there are plenty of slips available for our Mac Meet, but they will go fast as the summer heats up.

You can fill it out and either fax it, or scan it and email it. Be sure to put "MacGregor Group" in the box at the lower-left. I called them to be sure they got it, and to help them remember to try to put me with the group, if possible, which they said they would try to do.
