26X Centerboard
I have a 02 Mac and I wanted to check the centerboard line but wasn't able to lower it on the trailer. The boat is as far forward on the trailer as possible. When I lower the centerboard it hits the center cross frame on the trailer. Is there another other way to do this?

Foolproof way to get it to drop
release the CB line and then take a long trailer ride and I guarantee it will drop and hit the road....
Seriously, my CB on my 2002X just clears the bunk so I have a 3/8 line under the boat to catch it just in case.
I imagine the manufacturing tolerances on the trailer are loose enough that your rig might be different.
Maybe try a MacBump to move the boat as far forward as possible??

You do not want your centerboard to clear the trailer. If that centerboard drops when towing it will be shaved down to nothing pretty fast. Either inspect the centerboard in water or remove it completely. If you re inspecting it you want to check pivot hole, cable and connection and you can do it only if you remove centerboard completely.
Moe, it is middle of May and you still have not sailed your boat, she must look pretty in your yard but remember boats are built for water.
