I have later generation , and want to make a pedestal cover out of sunbrella UV fabric.
My wife is pretty good with sawing machine, and we have a pretty strong Pfaff sawing rig.
Is there anyone done this? Would you mind sharing the pattern with me, or point me to how to make this?
I made my own cover a couple years ago and recently modified it to accommodate a change in the grab rail, where I mounted my chart plotter. I suggest that you go to the Sailrite web site and watch their free video on how to make a binnacle cover. They do a great job of guiding you through making the pattern and making the cover.
Yes, my MacGregor 26M is the white one. I try to get out at least once a week and have been our twenty times this season. I have you number and will call you when I get the chance to talk with you for a while.
Sorry that Sailrite now charges $12.95 for the video on the cover.
I've never seen a custom cover for the M ped. I've seen one on an X. Seems like the best method is to get some paper and make a template.
Frankly, ours sits out in the weather all the time. It's meant to. I have seen some folks use inexpensive grill covers. Of course that doesn't look as good or is a much fun as making your own custom one.
Same here, but it was on my boat. But it doesn't fit even close to right at this point, with all the changes made, ;lus instrument mounts I've added for devices I store in the cabin. So I was actually looking forward to watching the Sailrite video. For some motivation.
