Has anyone installed winches on the stern area of 26M.

I sure wish the factory had put the winches there instead of on the top of the cabin.

There are also ez-cleats to achieve similar results to go on the tracks if you don't want to move/install winches.

EZ Cleats I have, but with the Genoa in a good blow I sure would like some winches back there - that's really where the genoa winches belong anyways. They should be on each side of the cockpit, not on top of the cabin. Winches on top of the cabin are only for a jib, not a genoa. It's the wrong place for the winch.

I wish the factory had put the winches in the right spot.

If you can't sheet the Genny in by hand you have too much sail out anyhow, but winches in back is a nice mod for single handing.

Where can you obtain the EZ cleat for the gen track? Have been looking, but have not found them. Assistance greatly appreciated.
