Have been stalking the board for a long time before i purchased my 95' Macgregor . Have been wanting to Sail all my life and finally took the plunge. Must say this board has some great people and extensive amount of macgregor information. Just would like to give a hello to everyone and will be alot more communicative once i start getting my boat ready for the summer season. I live in Edmonton Canada so boating will be a little while yet. Have purchased a bunch of projects for the boat before we head out.. ( Solar panel 40 watt, power inverter, led lights, bbq, fishfinder plotter). Alot to learn to just start and a life long education of the art of sailing ahead. Cheers to my fellow Macgregor owners!!.. I will take the order for the pizza's..
Welcome simple!!! I am in Saskatoon and i know there is another Mac person here in toon town and at least one in Calgary. Let me know if you need anything and again welcome to both sailing and the site
Welcome! Great to have you aboard. I'm sure you will love your MacGregor. I'm currently on my second (a 2005 ), 20 years after selling my first (a 1971 MacGregor Venture '22). They are great boats....in every way!
Welcome to the group simplesailer. As you already know, you will enjoy your time here. The admiral and I keep our "Spirit Wind" in Leduc during this hard water time and Lake Wabamun during the season. Hope to see you on the water.
Thanks guys for the kind welcoming.. Can't wait for the ice to melt fast enough here in the Great White North. Hopefully plenty of adventures to share with everybody.
Daniel, I will keep my eyes peeled for you at Lake Wabamun. I am sure i could use a lesson or two on getting it sailing .. We (Admiral and I) plan our making that our home base so I am sure we will run into you. Haven't named the boat officially but it looks like it will be "Solitude". Even with kids one can dream. haha! Do you have a slip at the Marina?

No, we are lucky to share a private residence location on Coal Point. See you on the water.
