Bought the 8-10" foam applicator pads (WAY better than using terry cloth as an applicator) but they tear very easily so buy extras, then terry cloth 8-10 for buffing. That stuff is supposed to remove oxidization and wax in one application and I was pretty happy. Wouldn't do it without the elec buffer though.

The X on the left - better than it was - much better than the one on the right. Click on the photo and you can see the reflected light.

You are welcome to come show me how it should be done.

Sure thing! Just mail me my plane tickets and I'll be right down to do it for ya! :P The hull does look good. Did you hit the stripes yet? I only did one coat/pass and it looked pretty good. Haven't been down to the boat for a few weeks to really see how it's holding up or after it gets a wash to see if they're still shiny or not. Did you try the foam applicators? I had bought two, ripped one trying to get it on and the other lasted o e side of the boat. Tried applying with the terry buffer then decided to go buy more foam ones. Wasn't worth the end result.

What I really liked about that stuff is I applied it on the chekering, buffed and it didn't appear to leave any residue. But it's hard to tell cause the Nufinish I put on four or five years ago is still hazy in there as I've never been able to get that sh*t out.

I haven't done the stripes yet. I usually use woody wax on the topside (monthly :( ), with Meguire's rubber restorer on the rubrail.

I also had to go out an buy some SS license plate nuts and machine screws. The previous ones were non-ss/galvanized and when I went to replace the plate they simply broke of from corosion - or because I'm soooo strong. :)

At the point now that I'm bugging the yard owner for a launch date. :D
