My guess is they chose the Mac due to the center mount nature of the transom.
They probably wanted a sailboat to represent how that size of motor typically is used, but liked the center mount since it shows off the motor more....

Either that, or some Mac owner bought one and sent them a picture...
That's an X. So, they just didn't go out a borrow one from a dealer...

It is unfortunate that they used the slower WHITE hulled X instead of the BLUE hulled M. The speed would have been significantly better.

That little engine looks funny in the engine well of the X, but it sure would make it more spacious as a swim deck...

That is probably the same X that was used in the 17 knot sailing speed test.

I love seeing 26's with little motors. Makes me feel good....
My M19 might be smaller, but the Honda 45 makes up for it.
