Fitting Radio to M

I am just about to take delivery of a new M and rather than re-invent the wheel..................... intend fitting a radio/cd player and VHF radio, I thought of fitting them flush in the bukhead near the mast, next to head. I assume the void is filled with foam?? Will I have problems getting cables from the switch board. Any advice welcome.

That's where I put mine. I have pictures somewhere. I posted something on the mods page. I put one speaker and the radio where you're talking with the speaker off the the side and the radio towards the center. I put another speaker up in the v-berth overhead area on the port side. There is foam in these spots but you can move it around. See

It is a piece of cake instal and puts the VHF in reach from the cockpit and cabin.
