Sliding galley

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the 2007 sliding galley ? The po did away with the galley and built cabinets along the port side making the interior very cramped. I want to make a new sliding galley. Also what type of waste hose for the sink drain. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the sliding galley version of the M never changed. In fact, the Tattoo seems to use the same molds for the galley.

So if you have a sliding galley, it's the same.

Width 44”. 111.76 cm
Height 18”. 45.72 cm
Depth 25.5” 64.757cm

I would just add the following (as I tend to be a bit over concerned with minutiae)...
Base:
Bottom: 22.5 x 42; 2-1/2" radius corners
Top: 25 X 43.5: 3" radius corners

Front face is vertical. Rear face is angled to meet dimensions at top and bottom. Left and right ends appear to be equally angled

Drain hose looks like 1" ID coil flex.

As you can see from the photos in other posts, the work surface edges overlap the base and the sink favors the left side. I'm assuming you will buy a sink, but if you want those dimensions, I'll be glad to get them.

With a hot glue gun, some scrap pieces of wood, cardboard, you could make a nice mock up of the gallery you want and user it for patterns to build from.

Still don,t know why BOATS sliding galley has that issue ! , mine is rock solid & I have a safety grab bar mounted on front of mine

& no issues even if I pull on it hard this pic is before I done my s/s sink & 12v faucet Mod

What I should have added in my original post, is the dimensions I gave are the general dimensions. I guess I should not have assumed that you would be creative in what you build.

You can be quite imaginative with the end result. I for one look forward to seeing the end product. Drawers, shelves, etc.

I installed a two burner propane range and and a stainless bar sink. Also have an additional electric pump faucet connected to a 30 gallon (136 liter) bladder in the bow.

I just pulled the hose from my sliding galley all the way to the back because it was blocked from sand and dirt. Unfortunately I had to cut it away from the connections because it was sealed on with some type of sealant I don’t recognize. Kind of like a cross between foam and silicone and a little spongy. It looks like the hose is Series 141 multi flex 3/4 ID and 1” overall on OD. I found it at the boat stores for around $2.50 to $3 dollars a foot U.S. Or you can just buy it from Walmart for $67 for 50 feet. To replace all the hose you need 14 feet which means I will probably need at least 20 feet I will have plenty left over to donate to my friends on this forum (if you pay the shipping!)

one of the first mods i did, besides resolving the unequal steering, was to change the galley hose, to its own thru hull, stop cock and a smooth bore hose, so that it drained better and didnt plug up with food debris.
so now the motor well has its own drain hose, with a thru- hull in the motor well, not that silly little pipe glassed in, so leaves etc, can be washed out with the garden hose, and washed down the pipe if needed, the old system would plug up, then if i put the hose to it, it would squirt up in the sink, and make a god-awful mess.
so now it all works better and safer with stop cocks, even though the thru hulls are above the water line!
