Male Human Liquid Waste Disposal System

Post by pitchpolehobie »

So for some good reasons Id prefer to have an incabin waste system for pee. I also do not want to store containers and id prefer a system thats as sanitary as possible. Using the portapotty for a whiz is kind of more trouble than its worth. I am thinking of a gas funnel w cap spliced into the sink drain line in the head. :macx:

Anyone have any links if theyve done something similar?

Interesting idea. I would worry about odor coming back up the drain line, though. In household plumbing, that problem is solved with a P trap (U-trap if you prefer), but you would want to be sure to add enough water to the system after using it to push the urine past the trap. Fortunately, there will be plenty available.
The key to inner peace is to admit you have a problem and leave it at that.

Don't see a reason on why it would not work. As mentioned already their could be a smell issue. But then you can just turn the tap on with lav deodorizer in the water. I know taking a pee in the :macx: can be a challenge for us men. I typically have the door open with one foot in the cabin.
Get the yellow one. Just because. :)

Yeh, that is my position, too, but I have a neat Canadian made Tilley hat with padding in the cap, so I can brace my head on the bulkhead creating a three-point brace, and then, I can follow the old sailing maxim---"one hand for the ship and one hand for the man"! At least we won't have the problem an old buddy who was in the Air Force had flying some old plane where they just rolled up a piece of paper into a funnel and opened a little port in the fuselage and peed out the port...until he got too close one day and the suction from the differential air pressures in and out of the plane grabbed him and stuck him in the port... :D

Brilliant :!:

I’m gonna tap my drain line and call it “The Wizzer”. The Admiral will Love it 8)

Just rinse and flush the line with a little water after. - It’s where the fish go…
