Sail Caddy arrives tomorow. Have not seen a discusion on this board.
Has anyone had experience with this devise? Hints on installation would
be appreciated.

I had some email correspondence with the Sail Caddy guy about a year ago and he was quite helpful. I think he even sent installation instructions but I don't know what I did with them. email or call him for good info.

Sail Caddy
I designed and built my own.
Look at pictures on Sail Caddy web site, then look at my Mod on the Mod Page ( MacGregor) under Category Sailing - Sail Cradle (Caddy).
Mine has worked OK for two years. I have subsequently modified Part B
pieces by re-inforcing the lower end by laminating another layer on (about three inches long) on the outside of each part. One of the originals broke during heavy wind pressure

I'm going to go with something like this, Sail Catcher, but with a stiffener along the top so it doesn't look quite so sloppy. I've seen neater ones. Add halyards aft and a boom kicker and you can drop and cover the sail all from the cockpit.

Got my SailCaddy today! Paul Drew DeMaster and others how did it go? Did you have any problems installing it? Any tips you might have or anything yoy might have done differently? I'll probably install mine sometime this week.
