To whom it may concern. I have finally awoke from a long dream. I so desire to be a MacGregor participant in the boating experience. Tell me of your adventures and perhaps mishaps upon becoming a boat owner. I am all ears ...............
I await your response.

Why thank you............
Actually, I just moved into toronto in July. I once lived in PA, IL both chicago and southern Illinois, Federal Aay WA, TX, and most anyplace my heart leads me hither to. Although my favorite place was WA for various reasons. It's funny how live carries some to distant lands, and others remain anchored to childhood neighborhoods of long ago. I did get an opportunity to do a 16 day trip last october to Great Britain.. and Scotland. Marvelous time seeing the stone circles on Halloween.

Welcome, blue - though later on.

I've considered sailing up in Canada and wondered what it would be like? Cold? Windy? Anything like the lakes?

Have you bought your boat yet?

I've been away from the site for a bit, so trying to catch up.

My first cruise - Isle Royale

Apostle Island Cruise - last year

North Channel - last year

North Coast - This summer

Hi there,

Quite a first cruise. My wife and I did a similar cruise out of Grand Portage on our MacGregor 26X in August 2004. It was an excellent trip, and without problems or mishaps. We spent about a week, circumnavigating the island clockwise. We started at Windigo and went from there. Saw lots of moose and heard wolves howling one night. Woke up late one night and were entertained by the northern lights. Very special.

I hope you made it to North Channel. That same year we did a 4 day cruise out of Killarney, destination being Baye Finn. Beautiful cruising grounds. We hope to return one day and do a more thorough explore.

Happy sailing, Mike and Sandy Cecka, Chinook
gotta put something together for my Door County trip in 2004
