Aluminum trailer

Post by John 26x (Gone Postal) »

A while back someone mentioned an aluminum trailer for the 26x from a manufacturer/dealer in Florida. The link I have is no longer valid. Does someone know how I can locate them? The URL had been www.cutratemall.com. Thanks for any help!

There's a whole multi-page thread on this over on the "Trailers and Towing" section of the Board. Check it out: Aluminum trailer

Hello:
Just a note:
My brother has an alluminum trailer under his 26 w/dual axles. When he went to launch for the first time this year the dang trailer floated up. He had a heck of a time launching and recovering with his floating trailer.

Don,
Is the floating trailer an option? I don't have that problem with mine unless I leave the trailer strap hooked up. Been there done that once too many!!!
For All You Others,
There is a company on Ebay that lists trailers all the time. I think they are under Ace trailers. They usually have a 24-26 feet trailer that ends up going for $2200-2300. This is brand new aluminum dual axle with brakes. If you are willing to take a gamble this might be the way to go. They are out of Tampa so that might be a hinderance of help. Happy sails, Tony
