Hey how did crocodile dundee get away with that big ohh thing he called a knife? And how do you cut up those shrimp you throw on the barbie for us Americans? and mad Max he sported some
heavy gauge tool too. You telling me those guys arent real? My whole Image of Australia has now been blown. Is there really Kangaroos?
Having some fun with are great friends in Australia, hope you dont mind.......Dont get me wrong, just because its illegal doesnt mean people dont do it
Aarrh unfortunately they are nothing but good old movies made for the American market.... i cant believe the popularity of mad max over there. There is actually a guy over here that goes around buying every ford coupe he can get his hands on, throws on a fibreglass body kit and exports them to the US as mad max replicas after naming his price!! maybe we should do a swap, ford coupes for reasonably priced macgregors??
No i was thinking of this one: http://www.aussiexport.com/main.htm
But the one you supplied is even worse then what i thought existed!!! i cant believe they are taking our toranas, valiants and monaros!!! They are a valuable pieces of motoring history here in Aus with not many good examples left. Dam your stong US$

I was assisting a fellow MacX family at the launch ramp recently, and handing over their stuff from the dock...I accidentally saw his "piece", "heat",...or as he calls it a holstered stainless 380 semi automatic. We then discussed guns for a while, instead of boats
Amazing how many of us folks have a license to carry, and actually do carry a firearm.
The problem is that there are so many criminals carrying weapons, and not those of us that are law abiding. Sad but true, and in the USA. SIGH.
Bummer, thats what I always use on my boats. Self protection, Ninja Style.. Hahah.jackie m wrote:Throwing stars, spiked wristbands, blow guns.

On a more serious note, one day we where driving through my home town. Small place in NC. We where going through one of the not so nice sections. And I will be darned if I didn't see someone walking down the streat holding an AK. It was at like 3 in the afternoon. He was just strolling allong, with it in his arms. We where within the city limits 2.

hard to conceal an AK anyway............
and I bet no street thugs bothered him......lol though he probably already was one.........
However.......If I see a young person with an AK walzing down the street in a tough neighborhood, I am taking cover and calling the mounties....
and putting at least 200 yds distance between.....

wow, the likelyhood of seeing someone loading a boat, with a holstered handgun here is impossible to even imagine. it just doesn't and won't happen. so, not to worry, worst thing that will happen to you boating, is some guy on the dock at the marina will offer you a canadian beer, be careful, we put booze in it up here!
