New mast crutch on 1996 26X

I made a mess out of my 1996 26X mast crutch when I snagged it on the frame of my tarp enclosure. This was just as well because I never liked that mast crutch.

I had a new one made by the best metal fabricator in these parts.

how did you access the "back side" of the fastening points on the rear end?
did you install deck plates?

BTW, that big HP outboard on the transom will void your warranty...

That arch looks really well designed, and I wondered what the extra eyes are at the side/top curves?
