Post by aya16 »

will leave 5am Saturday toooo, leave sometime monday around 9am back
going to cherry cove. Will BBQ Saturday night after my nap. Prime rib sounds good Ill get Karen to precook the thing. Maybe a little fishing, snorkle I dont know play it by ear....Cherry cove a little far for a dinghy that has no motor but if anyone going that doesnt have a motor or even
a dinghy Ill be happy to let them use mine or drive them to shore.
If no one goes Ill have all the fun myself..

Have a great trip! I'm only going to be able to do a Saturday day-sail that weekend. I'm supposed to get those two propellers back from the shop, we'll be testing them. Can you believe that it will be 83 degrees this weekend and 81 degrees - in Avalon next weekend?

I'm checking with the wife. You might consider the string line if all moorings are taken. Sat. in July can be tough. Only like a 20 year wait if you want to lease one in Cherry Cove. I always see some incredible boats there so you would have some upscale neighbors. If only they could get rid of the camp for juvenile delinquent scouts that place would be perfect.

Im such a freindly guy they let me in anywhere.
I just won on ebay a (suposed to be) like new never been in salt water
only used by his grandmother twice a year and never full throttle and has a thousand pounds of compression in each cyl. starts on the first pull all the time 30 lb evenrude 4.0 two stroke so the suzys off for awhile.

Hope you can go, maybe I can get my old friend Scott and Marlo to go
if they havent sold their boat yet, and rick and molly would be fun, Mark
already pooped out on me and it would take rich two months to sail there.
sailfish you up for it? anyone else? Inmon? maybe you can get ole roger to come this time. But tell him he has to use a 26 mac.

prime rib orders being taken now......Molly bring the horsey sauce.

ohh the reason I picked cherry cove is my dog can poop a short row away. 4th a july cove they yell at you if you try to land. And inside its to close to the bar and Karen will never get to see me the whole weekend.

Aya,

You're making me feel extra bad for not getting out to Catalina while in So CAl. One of these days I'll have to drive down again w/Rusalka and have another go at it. Would be nice to go with someone who knows the turf. Probably won't be for another 6 mo to a year, though.

Have fun,

Leon

aya16, I am going over to Two Harbors on this Friday with my X. I am launching from Dana Point and will be sailing over with my Father and his Catalina 36. Hope to see you there.
