Alrighty then, Ive been putting off the inevitable. DLT, you will not go down in history as the Steve Jobs of the "Hammock Hanger." At least for the time being.
The latest incarnation of the wonder tool "Hammock Hanger" is 30 feet below my boat as we speak doing duty as "Aquatic Habitat" This was no accident. Yes I admit I "Brianized it" (Family joke) To Davy Jones locker she went.
The hammock for this summer will have to serve with non level ends.

For the sure fire PFD crowd I also snapped this photo to disuade all the cat calls about where is her PFD

Yes we were doing a blistering .7 kt in 2.8 mph winds. (I think I was planing)
On a much happier note, If I cinch the rope down and tie it with about 700lbs of tension, my a** doesnt drag on the forehatch.
