KOW = Killed on Water = a euphemism for not wearing your life jacket.

(Seriously, Knock on Wood per Kevin above)

My 26X trailer came with 14-inch D-rated Titans (1,870 lbs each), which left me with less than 200 lbs capacity over my net axle wt. I chose 15-inch C-rated Marathons last summer (2,150 lbs each), but I too recall owner complaints about Goodyear too, especially in their earlier production years. I'm not sure what I'd choose next, but my Marathons clearly inspire more confidence than the Titans. Maybe ignorance is bliss!

Doing over again, I'd just upgrade to 15-inch tires on a single axle, and choose the higher "D" rated Marathons (2,500 lbs. each).
My 26X came with 14-inch Dico tires. Had a blow out in less than a year after purchase. Had no spare. AAA only had 15 inch truck tires and rims with the proper lug hole pattern. Replace them in the dark after AAA sprung fenders to fit. Tires turn out to be heavily checked upon examination in daylight. Replaced them with Goodyear Marathon -C in 1997. Just had first delamination/blow out 2007, (not sure as tire shredded before could stop at Lake Mead). Keep them covered at RV storage yard in the desert heat. Just purchased spare Goodyear Marathon - C from Discount Tire. Did not realize there was a higher grade. If anything my boat is always overloaded with "stuff" for the hour drive to Lake Mead, so the larger tires are a must.
