It's Saturday night 9:30pm. Anchored in Selby Bay near Annapolis,MD
. Slight breeze form the west ,68 F. Kids are in bed and the admiral is in the v.birth reading. I can't imagine any other place I would want to be right now. I hope everyone is doing the same.

That is a beautiful image and a reminder that all of us who heed the call to sea and river and lake are blessed.

Earlier in the evening I was in the Rhode River, and it was meteorological nirvana. Hopefully La Nina will give us some warm fall nights, so we'll only have to distract the Rain and Thunderstorm Gods, at least on weekends.

Best sailing of the fall so far today... it's Saturday, clear blue sky, beautiful foliage colors, air temp 88F, west wind @ 16+ mph, water swimable @ 67F. :) ...
But...my two closest free ramps are closed today. One is staged for a relay foot race, and the other has an antique / classic car / boat show!

We just got home from three days and two nights aboard our baby .
Friday night we hung with friends , listened to some good live music ,
Saturday night we anchored 30 miles down the river .

Came home in a storm and a steady rain on Sunday , but it was still a great time !

60 mile cruise and 6 gallons of gas used ! :macx:
What a difference from our Bayliner !
