We have a lead on a damaged Venture 23, y'know, the pilot cutter with the bowsprit and two jibs. It is located in NE Florida.
This is a real classic and looks on first glance to be fairly nice but needs a lot of TLC plus repair of a gash in her hull. I understand this sort of repair is fairly easy. The owners have no interest in her and want her out of their way. If there's sufficient interest I'll look into the matter further. If the trailer comes with it my interest is to swap it for our stock Venture 25 trailer and put the '23 on it. You may call me at (386) 649-8710

That would be a Venture Newport, saw your pics of all your boats! Lucky guy, I only have an X, and a '76 Venture 25. I also know where a Newport is at the moment, sorry to say the Admiral would have a cow if she knew I was thinking of nabbing it!
Your album that you posted in the mods section is good! I too had to manufacture a method of removing the boat from it's trailor. Mine is much harder to accomplish this task, but it is a doable endeavor. Did it alone also, and 500+# of Iron is quite a chore! That keel was on there for 20+ years without an overhaul, so it was a really FUN
job, to say the least!
