Failure

Post by cub21rak »

Well we went and launched her. Got the motor started after a few pull and it ran for little while. Then it died. I tried a few more pull then it got to the point that it wouldn't recoil the pull string.

I had it in a discussion yesterday but realized I posted wrong year. The motor is a 1979 Chrysler 6hp

Thanks!
I have a friend planning on looking at the recoiled for me on Wednesday and if no lunch I'm taking it to the shop. Just wish I was able to buy a new motor and avoid this trouble. This one has had it's better days way past.
