Ahoy, Landlubber to become Seabourne once again!

Post by Tom Root »

Hello all! I see many new names, but quite a few blasts from the past here, as well! It looks like my Sailing days are back once again? Thanks to efforts of a helper to get my Mac X going again, I may be sailing the East Coast! Long story, short, I moved out of California because I could NOT retire their due to the High Cost of Living there, and Moved back to PA, where I left in 1973 to pursue a career in the USMC! It has been 8 years since moving back, and although I did many upgrades to the Mac, I just could never find the time to get her out! It looks like I have the opportunity to put her in on the Delaware River, in a place called Slaughter Beach, very near the Mouth of the Atlantic! I am eagerly getting the boat ready, and am rusty, and will use this great forum once again to find answers to questions I have. I am so grateful that this forum is still very active, with excellent members who really help our Brand's community! I have participated frequently in the past, and look forward to making entries in the future! I feel like I am home once again just being back on board!
