My hull is looking tired and abused (from POs, not me, I swear!). I am certain this has been discussed before, but I could not find a straight answer in the forum search. Are there any special methods regarding paint? I have semi-pro experience painting cars, I have done basecoat/clearcoat jobs on several vehicles that came out great. Can I use same materials/paint for a boat? Or is there a marine grade paint/sealant that I should be using? I know bottom paint is different, but I am talking about the above water blue hull.
