Macs to Holland

Post by Bill M »

On Saturday some members of the UK Macs Association are taking part in the annual week-long rally - this year to the Netherlands. Seven 26X's and their crews will meet up at Dover on the South Coast at mid-day on Saturday to take the cross-channel ferry to Calais in France and then drive about 200 miles to Dinteloord in Holland where we launch and the cruise starts. An interesting itinerary of cruising has been planned on the inland waterways and we look forward to testing our skills in avoiding the many Dutch barges and low bridges! We return home on Saturday 5th June. No doubt we will have some interesting tales to tell!

Some of my favorite posts are about sailing adventures. Your adventure to the Netherlands sounds great. I'm looking forward to reading about it. :)

The Association has recently changed from one Hon Secretary to another. I think that both will be on the Dutch trip, so I will check and get the up to date e-mail address for you on our return.
