Seems that a natural gas and LP conversion kit is available for this Honda model. As of yet, there is no tri-fuel option.

Ohh... thanks for that one, Gerald. True they don't have one for our little EU1000i for the boat, but they *do* have a kit for our whole-house genset, a Honda EB11000, and I've really wanted one for some time. Superb!

Re: Honda EU2000i generator
The yamaha 1000 will run my 5050 btu air condition and will run 24 hrs on 10 lb propane. This is looking good except the cost ,but something I can live with. With a aluminum 10 lb. propane you good for 3 nights sleeping at $7-8. beats Petro and lower sound levels.

Its hard to carry propane in qty to have enough fuel range - its a gas at room temp and pressure, of course, so you have to keep it in a heavy pressurised container for use. There is another problem - as you take propane from a tank, the Joule-Thompson effect cools it and the tank eventually freezes up, if you are pulling enough gas to run a motor.
