Re: There's a fish in my trunk
That's gonna smell nice in a few days! Can you hit it with a pressure washer? That should break it up and allow you to knock it out.

Re: HOW COME THEY DON'T TALKS TO US?
I love some of the responses that show people finally realizing what's important. I served 23 years in the Navy and always dreamed of actually being a sailor that SAILED. I also wanted something that I could do with the whole family and the Mac is just the ticket for weekend getaways on the Chesapea...

Re: Putting numbers and sticker on dinghy
You've got to put the stickers on a stainless plate and then screw the plate to the inflatable part...make sure you use stainless screws too.

Re: Installing a USB socket
Question asked to the link posted. FWIW-I have a craftsman friend who builds terrapin Teardrops (trailers) he ordered USB ports and unbeknownst to him they had small LEDs under the cover to show power available. Enough to draw down a battery when the trailer is stored (improperly) for a couple month...

Lol, nice. Just returned from thanksgiving in the Big Apple. Most thankful to be back in Nowhere, VA. Heavy traffic for me is 3 deer and a tractor on my 14 mile commute. I've been everywhere courtesy of Uncle Sam's canoe club and the traffic in NYC is worse than Mexico City, New Delhi, Madrid, and a...

Re: 81 year old dream
Mike, my mother has dementia also (83) fortunately, dad is her rock rather than any physical location or thing (as long as he brings her cough drops) she is ok for trips up to 3-4 hours. Mastereb, glad you were able to do that for him. Since posting this my dad and I have been swapping upgrade plans...

Re: This Winter & Spring's Scheduled Mods...
Removing the inboard fuel tank, replacing all fuel lines, adding a grill, getting some fishing pole brackets installed and re-rigging the topping lift. Oh yeah, all L.E.D. lighting and sew up some sheets for the vee berth. Hey Shrek, Was it a bad PO install? :?: Dangerous :? Is it taking up a lot o...

Re: 81 year old dream
I guess that's off topic since dad bought a Hunter instead of a Mac. It's so heartwarming to me I just had to share it though.

81 year old dream
Visited my folks this fall and told my dad about the new Mac and the fun we've been having on it. He's been getting Sail magazine as long as I can remember and I think he was more excited about the new boat than I was. Raising six kids I guess he just never had the money or time to fulfill HIS dream...

New to sailing and I saw the title and thought I'd better see what a ''Winslow key'' is. Ha ha, True Value or Napa is probably your best bet.

Re: looking for a dinghy --ideas
Wow, we just tow an old kayak we picked up for 3 carwash tokens and some couch change. I can fit 2 kids or 3 days worth of groceries and gas on it. Stows easily in the cabin when trailering and I'm as fast as any 2.5 horse outboard.
