Why not?

I mounted my transducer that way. Sealed it up and it never leaked, its only a tiny hole to mount with a couple of screws. And even if you get a small leak, what does it really matter, its going right into the water ballast tank anyway.

2001 serial number

I am in the process of selling my boat and was looking at the serial #'s on the boat. I have a 2001 and the serial # is MACX4200Lxx1. The problem is its hard to distinguish the L, maybe its a 1?? Just a little help if anybody can take a look at their serial number and see if it is a letter or a numb...

Can't say she ever pooped on the Mac, so that won't be much of an issue. I don't plan on overniting, I already have a camper for that. There is a curtain that goes around the porta potty for some privacy, but unless its a real emergency, it probably won't get any use. I just have boys, so going over...

time to switch boats

Thanks everybody for all the good information and discussions on this board. I really like the discussing the modifications and problems/solutions that everybody went thru. I had the 2001 26x for 3 years and my wife didn't ever feel comfortable on it, and her attitude kind of spread to the kids. Its...

honda bf50 voltage regulator

I have a 2000 honda bf50. The voltage output seems to be a constant 15.6 volts, no matter how long I run the motor. I am thinking the voltage regulator is bad. It looks like a somewhat frequent problem with this motor. Does anybody know the part # of a new voltage regulator?

thanks

garage door size

I am looking at building a garage in the near future. Does anybody know the minumum garage door height to get the Mac 26x into on the trailer?

I would remove the mast and mast crutch to help. Will an 8' high door work?

thanks,

bob

fuse panel

This may seem like a stupid question but... I have a 2001 26X and haven't had any electrical problems (yet). I am doing some re-wiring work this winter and was wondering how to remove the fuses from the stock fuse panel? I tried prying them off a bit, but haven't popped anything loose yet. I don't w...
