halyard for CDI FF2 Furler
I have a 97
with a CDI FF2 furler and I need to replace the halyard, part of the line is de-corded. What should I use and where do I find it?
Thanks

Are you referring to the 1/4" halyard with the ferrule attached that runs in the luff extrusion? If so you can find the replacement part Here. You can download the PDF manual Here. If you are referring to the furling line, you will need 5/32 to 3/16 line. CDI recommends braid on braid decron. I used 1/8 cord from the locale hardware store. You can find the instructions to rewind the drum on page 10 of the manual. Both are easy to replace. You will find a dealer list link on the above sites (here).

CDI Furler halyard
Bill Thanks for the offer, I'll contact you when the time comes. Upon inspection I find that the halyard is ok just stretched. The "messenger" [CDI's term for line to raise the sail] is in bad shape. What would you use to replace it?
