I find that the lower piston hanks on the jib can drop down prior to raising the sail and jam over the swaging on the forestay. To stop this I took a penny washer (SS of course) put a saw cut across one half, twisted it open and slipped it over the forestay twisted it closed and the jib hanks no longer get jammed. Cost.....next to nothing!
